Rotary International is an international service club dedicated to the provision of humanitarian service, encouragement of high ethical standards, and the building of goodwill and peace in the world. A group of Rotarians from Tortola in the British Virgin Islands participated in a Group Study Exchange to Richmond in September. This exchange was sponsored by Rotary Clubs in Virginia.
The Innsbrook Rotary Club hosted these guests for four days. CEO, Tod Balsbaugh, is a member of this club and invited the delegation to visit our office. We shared our mission and how we did business. They were very interested in virtualization, green computing, and collaboration with other partners.
The intent of these delegations is to build good will and better understanding among people, nations and businesses. Our guests were very attentive and asked many questions. Mike Wheat captivated them when he discussed virtualization and cloud computing.
