Domain Naming Server Blacklisting, better known as DNS Blacklisting, was designed as a beneficial tool to protect internet users from spam emails. Although the intention was to prevent spam and provide security benefits, it has become disruptive to innocent users.  How is this possible?  An individual’s mail servers can send volumes of junk mail, which in many cases are generated through a server that has been configured and used by spammers.  Unfortunately, once you are tagged as a spammer, the IP address of your server is added to the DNS blacklist by third parties.  Being added to the blacklist will prevent the sending and receiving of spam; however, it could potentially lead to the non-delivery of critical emails.  The hassle of being removed from these blacklists is a long and complex process.

Richmond Public Schools hosted the first Kids and Technology Day on April 18 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Henderson Middle School. Students and staff demonstrated how technology is being incorporated in classrooms throughout the district. Additionally, fair booths showcased various educational technologies on topics such as podcasting, SMART boards, assistive technology and SOL Pass.

On Wednesday, March 11th, around 11:30am, two of our technicians helped save a man's life on Chippenham on the Willey Bridge.  Senior Systems Engineer Joel Woodward and Systems Engineer Chad Christianson were on their way to a client when they passed a smoking van on the side of the road.  Once Chad realized that there was a man in the van who was wildly flailing his arms, he told Joel that something was wrong and that they needed to turn around and see what was happening to the man in the van.  They got off at the next ...
